February 25 Meeting: Fluorescent Minerals – presented by Bob Oblack

Fluorescent mineral exhibit at the Rice NW MuseumBob Oblack, member of the Fluorescent Mineral Society, will be bringing his Ultra Violet light set-up and a large collection of UV reactive minerals to our meeting on Thursday, February 25th. The meeting starts at 7:30 and is guaranteed to be informative, interesting and very different from our standard programs. You won’t want to miss it

Did you know that some minerals light up like neon signs when a UV light is applied? Come out and see the exciting word that UV lights can show you. And if you have something you think might be Fluorescent, bring it with you.
